Attending the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at the beautiful Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi was truly an unforgettable experience. The summit was an incredible gathering of innovators, researchers, policymakers, and founders, all united by a common goal: exploring how Artificial Intelligence can step out of the lab and create genuine, real-world impact.

Representing Amrita AI at the summit was a major highlight for me. I had the privilege to present our flagship application, Medsum, and share our team's dedicated work in the field of AI for healthcare. The energy in the room was palpable as we connected with inspiring individuals from all around the globe who are equally passionate about building meaningful AI solutions to tackle pressing global challenges.

Beyond our own presentation, it was deeply exciting to learn about monumental national initiatives like BharatGen. This initiative's goal to build robust, India-centric generative AI models is a major step forward in strengthening the country's entire AI ecosystem. The engaging conversations surrounding these initiatives truly drove home the boundless potential of collaborative innovation.

The India AI Impact Buildathon

The summit wasn't just about talks and presentations; it was also about getting our hands dirty coding. Alongside my brilliant teammates Priti Gupta and Saketh Pai, we competed in the highly competitive India AI Impact Buildathon.

This hackathon was an intense online challenge designed to push our limits by designing intelligent, AI-driven systems specifically targeting safety, fraud detection, and robust user protection. We navigated a grueling series of complex technical hurdles, starting from qualifying our base models and advancing through active API Endpoint testing for AI-Generated Voice Detection.

While we unfortunately got knocked out in the subsequent rounds, I am incredibly proud of how our team handled the intense pressure. We successfully deployed intelligent end-points on the fly and proved both the accuracy of our logic and the ethical design of our Scam Detection systems before our elimination. It was a massive learning experience.

Grateful for the rich insights, challenging conversations, and lasting connections made during this landmark summit. We are leaving more inspired than ever and are looking forward to continuing our journey of building impactful AI solutions.
